In 1998, FirstView’s founder, Joe Meyer, co-founded the payroll Debit Card industry by creating the first FDIC-insured payroll Debit card account, serving the unbanked and underbanked, all the while innovating new product ideas and developing the foundation of what has become a multi-billion dollar industry.

FirstView, LLC began operations in 2003 with a single focus: Creating financial products for customers with little or no banking relationships. Our first product was the Espree pre-paid MasterCard, which enables customers who don’t qualify for checking accounts or credit cards to enjoy convenient transactions wherever VISA and MasterCard is accepted. Espree, along with other FirstView products has emerged as a true industry success. FirstView’s products are responsible for Billions of dollars per year in purchases. To serve its corporate customers better, FirstView launched ancillary services such as ACH Processing and Account and ID Verification.

To power its Espree and FirstPoynt operations, FirstView utilizes an industry-leading issuing platform designed to be highly-flexible to meet the needs of its consumer customers as well as its distribution channels. Additionally FirstView has made significant investment in enhancing and expanding its card issuing and payment processing services, utilizing the latest technologies.

With our extensive customer base and our rock-solid online payment processing operation as business foundations, FirstView has expanded its products and services, and today offers a full suite of alternative payment and direct billing solutions.
